"Do you believe that it is within human rights to sentence criminals to the death penalty?"
People commit crimes all the time. Some are petty, and some are pretty heinous. And through prison and jail time, the behavior of some is corrected, while for others, it's not. It is not within someone's human rights to rape a person or murder them, but in my personal opinion, when someone commits such a crime that violates the human rights of others, they void their own. While I don't agree that every criminal should be sentenced to death if they violate human rights, especially in small ways, but if the actions of someone greatly harms the livelihood of another in a permanent way, like in the case of murder, when there is no more livelihood to be had, then they don't deserve to be walking among the innocent. And in other cases, when crimes are repeated again and again, then they have proven that they cannot be fixed, and are simply a nuisance to society.
