Globalization

For humans, there is a strong connection that we tend to have with the entirety of our species. While this is not unique for people alone, because many animals besides ourselves do have such bonds like we do, but our bonds are special because we have them on a much larger scale than those of other animals. The human race has invented many things that globalize our connections with our species, like the Internet, television, phones, and methods of travel. Things that were previously impossible for us to know or access are days, hours, minutes, or even seconds away from our fingertips.
Of course, animals do not have such means like we do, but from what we see, the racism they experience is also not the same as ours. Animals that live in disjointed groups do not know if there are others out there that are the same as them but look different, but the differences in us humans has caused wars and death.

Does the technology that globalizes our species fight against our nature and could it possibly be used to explain racism?
